It's true. Check this out. http://www.siliconera.com/2010/09/28/new-fatal-frame-coming-to-wii/ Screens: Credit to BCL for the screens. So what do you guys think about this new ''remake'' of the Crimson Butterfly? Yay or Nay?
I love how the week I play Fatal Frame 2...I hear about this. XD I love the altered outfits...though I prefer the original...still looks nice~
I kinda like what I see. And I love how on the site it says: "It looks as if the new Fatal Frame will star what looks like a pair of twins." Well yeah... it's a remake of Fatal Frame 2. xDD
Thanks for putting the site up. :3 *hopes to learn more of the new Fatal Frame 2 game*
I say 'Eh' since it's not 'that' big of a deal to me. I enjoyed the second game but it's not really something for me to jizz in my pants about.
I do like how it all looks, but I'm curious...WHY? It seems..strange for this to happen. I hope they don't back out of it.
Sandra was telling me about it the other day. I hope it plays like the fourth one since it's on the wii =) I remember how frustrated the controls were at first when I started the game. It made everything harder to enjoy a little ):
WHAT? NO! I mean, it's amazing that they're making a remake! I can't wait to play it, but that makes me wonder... WHY? It makes no sense at all... Fatal Frame 2 is so... actual, seems like it was releases just yesterday. I don't think they needed to do another FF2. And it doesn't even seem better to me, Mio and Mayu were much prettier in the original game. They would do better to get their lazy ass moving and translate Fatal Frame IV. A bunch of sons of b*****, the whole Tecmo staff D:<
I COULD FUCKING KISS YOU RIGHT NOW FORGOTTEN MELODY.
THIS IS THE BEST FUCKING THING EVER.
IDK WHAT YOU SAY.
FATAL FRAME 2 IS MY BABY. I LOVE IT LIKE IT WAS MY FIRST BORN CHILD.
THIS IS SO FUCKING AMAZING.
Kay since I just fucking went nuts here are my thoughts!!!!
DEFINITELY diggin the new models holy shit. The now look more similair. Mayu always looked so much more different to me than Mio but now they look more similair and personally I like Mayu's new outfit.
Fatal Frame 4's gameplay was superior to the playstation controls in my opinion. The dodging and handling of camera controls on the wii mote were farrrr more suited to that station.
Except I hope they don't include the slowwwww as shit reaching for items bullshit like on 4. That was dumb and just slowed doen the gameplay.
I'm also looking forward to NEW FUCKING COSTUMES AND SIDEQUESTS. OMG I WILL BE SO HAPPY.
I hope they do not reuse previous costumes and just make new ones.
Seriously I am so fucking excited. I hope they include all the endings INCLUDING the ending that was only put on the xbox version.
I hope they also add tons of new extras!!!! Maybe even new playable characters? Or added story???? There is so much room for new content!!!! I can't wait to see the new rendered cut-scenes!!!
OH MY GOD THIS JUST OCCURED TO ME!!!!
WILL THEY EVER EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE HANGED TWINS???? HOLY SHIT I HOPE THEY DO!!! YES TO LIFE.
I am eating this shit up. This is so boss. I was just wishing the other day when I replayed it that it was made for the wii. This is so fucking boss.
I was hoping they'd localize FFIV, but oh well. I'm just glad that the series isn't dead. After the FFIV fiasco, I thought the future of series was pretty much done for. I just hope Nintendo won't be stupid asses and not release this internationally. :/ Btw, I wonder what's taking Tecmo and Nintendo so long to release new info on it? They've been pretty hush-hush about it.
Finally, there's been some news regarding Fatal Frame 2011.
Fatal Frame, Tecmo's Japan-styled horror adventure series that hasn't been seen in America for half a decade, might be making a comeback. In the latest issue of Japan's Famitsu magazine, series producer Keisuke Kikuchi stated that he expects to unveil the title he and his team's currently working on sooner than later. "I can't discuss exact details yet, but we are working hard on something right now," Kikuchi told Famitsu. "I think we'll be able to make an announcement soon, so I hope people look forward to it."
